This project employs an educational approach entitled STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) as a means of solving environmental issues, according to the age of the students involved (6-15).
Our project targets the following objectives
-to integrate and apply knowledge and skills to solve authentic environmental problems through STEAM;
-to develop learning and teaching resources related to STEAM disciplines in the field of environmental education;
-to express professional capacity and collaboration among teachers in the participating schools and partnerships with community stakeholders in the field of environmental education through STEAM.
The project is divided into four modules:
Ecosystems through STEAM
Earth resources through STEAM
Environmental sustainability and transportation through STEAM
Environmental sustainability and food through STEAM
